Ideas what counsellor does?

What are their expectation.

Ask why they came today?

Has this happened before?

Have you had a similar situation before not beong included?

Some suggestions to diversify Lisa's interests like use of social media

Do I as a client need to refer her to a treatment professional, or therapy? Or Headspace? Likely not in the fiest session, but ultimately yoyu can refer. If increasingly distressed.

--

We do introductions sessions

Then we may refere to Headspace or similar places

NIC: When she went to first session she was told to go straight to Headspace.

K: In real world it can happen, but for this excercise we will do three sessions

2:08:50

www.headspace.org.au is the national page
Age 12 - 25

We can refere "Lisa" to headspace eventually...

2:11:05

K: Learn to swim in your own line but be open to work with people in other lanes – refer where possible.
